Dogs Across America is a nationwide dog-powered relay event which is intended to bring attention to the fact that ordinary dogs can pull scooters, carts, and other non-motorized vehicles. The goal of the event is to bring attention to the need for adoption of high-energy dogs which are in animal shelters. Many of these dogs are just looking for a good home and with regular care, exercise, and training would make an excellent companion to an individual for family.

On December 2nd and 3rd, Continental Kennel Club will participate and sponsor a section of the relay event in Cobb County, GA at the Silver Comet Trail from the beginning of the trail to the uncompleted section in Rockmart.
