One word describes this year’s convention, WOW! The dedication, determination, foresight, and commitment these Future Farmers exemplified was inspiring! Those of us who see students involved in the same things we participated in while growing up can remember those fun times, and CKC representatives were glad to share in the moment right along with this year’s group of convention participants. This was a fun and exciting time for all of us; students, alumni, advisors, staff, and exhibitors.

Continental Kennel Club was on hand once again to demonstrate the wonderful world of canines as well as to explain how agriculture and the canine industry can work hand-in-hand. Representatives, human and canine, were on hand to talk about and demonstrate exciting careers pertaining to canines. We were able to talk to advisors and students about the Canine Care and Training Program that Continental Kennel Club has developed for implementation in the agri-science curriculum. This program has already been implemented into several schools in Louisiana with great success.

Congratulations to the new FFA officers as well as all those who placed in the events that they participated in. We hope to see you again next year!
