What a beautiful weekend to work dogs! Louisiana Canine Team Builders Association and Continental Kennel Club welcomed the warm and sunny spring weather along with a bunch of outstanding dogs and their owners to the Spring Fest in Walker, LA, April 1 & 2. On Saturday morning, we began the day with the junior handler trials in agility and obedience. We had two newcomers to CKC events competing in Jr’s, and I’m proud to say they both passed their Novice Agility-level 1, and Novice Obedience-level 1. Congratulations to them both. After the Jr’s completed their tasks, we began Agility and Obedience competitions. Congratulations to all the dogs that passed. We closed Saturday out with a Conformation fun match.

We started Sunday bright and early, with tracking and article search trials and one of our professional trainers closed the day with Retrieval Training demonstrations. All around, the weekend couldn’t have been better. Thank you to CKC Training Center for allowing the use of the facility, to our sponsors for the prizes, and especially to everyone who came out to support LCTBA. We hope to see everyone at the next event!
