Louisiana Canine Team Builders Association and Continental Kennel Club welcomed Teus Tijsseling to the Livingston Parish Fairgrounds May 6th-8th to continue his tour of training knowledge. We started early on Friday morning with agility practice then continued the day with some personal protection work and scenarios. Even with the hard biting, high-jumping canines we had out there, the highlight of the day was by our decoy. Try to stay on the car next time! Saturday was a day full of agility and obedience training followed by a little bitework to close the day. On Sunday, the dogs were worked in tracking and article search. This was training for the owner as well as the dog. We had a good turnout--including members of Peach State Performance Dogs all the way from Georgia. Thanks to everyone who came out, thanks to Livingston Fairgrounds, our sponsors, and a big thank you to Teus. We'll see you next time you come around!
