Appearance: Head: Strong with a broad skull. Eyes: Set wide apart and medium in size. Ears: Set high, small and hanging close to cheek. Muzzle: Wide and well tapered. Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level. Neck: Medium length and well muscled. Top-line: Level. Chest: Deep and broad. Body: Back is strong and short, with powerful and slightly arched loins. Legs: Forelegs are long and straight. Hind legs are medium length with strong hocks. Feet: Hare-footed, with strong nails and well-arched toes. Tail: Medium length and well covered with hair. Movement: Good reach, with well balanced movement. Temperament: Energetic, free-spirited, with good movement.
