Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat. Bite: Level or undershot. Neck: Moderate length, very muscular and well arched. Top-line: Level. Chest: Wide and deep, with well-sprung ribs. Body: Compact, with a short back and wide, muscular and slightly arched loins. Legs: Forelegs are straight, powerful and set wide apart. Hind legs are strong and straight when viewed from the rear. Feet: Medium size, with well arched toes and hard pads. Tail: Set high, tapering to a point and carried high. Movement: Strong and driving, yet very agile. Temperament: Protective and aloof with strangers. |
