Appearance: Head: Long and wedge shaped. Eyes: Small, almond shaped and dark in color. Ears: Erect, small and thin. Muzzle: Medium and tapering to a point. Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level. Neck: Long and slightly arched. Top-line: Level. Chest: Deep and broad with well-sprung ribs. Body: short back, with loins that are broad, long and slightly arched. Legs: Forelegs are short and straight. Hind legs are very muscular, with moderately bent hocks. Feet: Round and compact, with well-arched toes. Tail: Set low and tapered to a point. Movement: Swift and very agile, with flowing gait. Temperament: High-spirited, yet very lovable.
*The Bull Terrier is an excellent athletic type dog who loves to play & roughhouse with the kids. He is strong for his size, but makes a good family pet. |
