Color: White With Patches Of Any Color Except Liver; Color Should Cover Both Eyes & Ears With White Blaze Down The Face
  
Description: The Papillion name was derived from the French word meaning “butterfly” because when the ears stand erect, they resemble the wings of a butterfly. This delicate little companion dog makes an excellent family dog. They are extremely intelligent and are willing to please. They require lots of attention and interaction because of their willingness to learn. These little guys would be great for CKC obedience and agility trials and then could show their beauty in the show ring of our conformation shows.
  
Appearance: Head: Small, slightly rounded, medium wide. Eyes: Medium sized, dark, round, not bulging. Ears: Large, with round tips, butterfly like, set on sides of head. Muzzle: Medium size and well proportioned to head. Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level. Neck: Medium length. Topline: Level. Chest: Medium depth with well sprung ribs. Body: Dainty and fine-boned. Legs: Slender and fine boned. Feet: Thin and elongated. Tail: High set, long, plumed. Movement: Smooth flowing gait, with graceful movements. Temperament: Alert, and a good family pet.
*CKC registers 2 lines of the Papillon: the American line as the Papillon and the French/Belgium line (imports) as the Continental Toy Spaniel, Papillon.
