| Appearance: Head: Otter-like with a short, sturdy muzzle. Eyes: Dark in color and of medium size. Ears: Small, V-shaped and falling forward. Muzzle: Medium size and well proportioned to head. Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level. Neck: Medium length, clean and muscular. Chest: Deep and narrow, ribs are not too sprung. Body: Back is strong and level, with a strong loin. Legs: Forelegs are straight and set at medium width. Hind legs are muscular, with stifles that are well bent and hocks let down. Feet: Compact and small, with arched toes and thick pads. Tail: Short; thick at base and tapering towards tip. Movement: Quick, yet well balanced movements. Temperament: Fearless, loyal, and willing to please. |
