| Appearance: Head: Rounded, “apple-dome” skull, with a short muzzle. Eyes: Set wide apart, full and dark in color. Ears: Rather large and covered with long hair. Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level. Neck: Slender and slightly arched. Topline: Level. Chest: Deep, but not barrel shaped, with ribs well-sprung and belly slightly tucked up. Body: Back is level and straight. Legs: Forelegs are straight, fine and set well under the body. Hind legs are positioned well under the body, with bent hocks. Feet: Small, with soft pads and toes separated, but not spread. Tail: Docked. Movement: Quick, yet well balanced movements. Temperament: Fearless, loyal, and willing to please. |
