| Appearance: Head: Long, with an arched forehead and broad skull. Eyes: Dark in color. Ears: Set high, rounded at tips, hanging flat against head and covered with long hair. Muzzle: Medium size and well proportioned to head. Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level. Neck: Strong and clean. Topline: Level. Chest: Deep with well sprung ribs. Body: Back is short and straight, with loins muscular. Legs: Forelegs are strong and perpendicular. Hind legs are straight with hocks well bent. Feet: Round, with arched toes and tough, hard pads. Tail: Well set and carried horizontally or with a slight upward curve. Extremely long tails may be docked a little. Movement: Swift and very agile, with flowing gait. Temperament: High-spirited, yet very lovable. |
