| Appearance: Head: Broad and pear shaped. Eyes: Wide open and dark in color. Ears: Set high, medium in size and lying close to head. Muzzle: Medium size and well proportioned to head. Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level. Neck: Short and muscular. Chest: powerful and broad, with slightly sprung ribs. Body: Back is moderately long and level, with loins that are broad and slightly arched. Legs: Forelegs are strong, straight and short, with hind legs being straight and strong; often cow-hocked. Feet: Oval, with well arched toes and strong black pads. Tail: Natural length or docked to about 4 inches. Movement: Swift and very agile, with flowing gait. Temperament: High-spirited, yet very lovable. |
