| Appearance: Head: Very long with arched skull. Eyes: Large and dark amber in color. Ears: Set low, long and slightly folded. Muzzle: Long and narrow. Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat. Bite: Scissor or level. Neck: Short and strong, with slight dewlap. Chest: Deep and broad, with long, well sprung ribs. Body: Back is broad and slightly convex. Legs: Forelegs are strong, muscular and perpendicular. Hind legs are well muscled, with sinewy and well placed hocks. Feet: Round and compact, with arched toes and strong nails. Tail: Set low and very short, usually 1-2 inches. Movement: Swift and very agile, with flowing gait. Temperament: High-spirited, yet very lovable. |
